Chris LaneChris LaneChris LaneChris Lane has been fishing professionally since 2000, but his tournament fishing goes back to when he was just a boy and would have family tournaments between his dad, grandfather, and his brothers Bobby and Arnie Lane.

Chris is known on the B.A.S.S. tour for his positive attitude and proficiency with several fishing techniques.  He travels all over the United States competing in Bassmaster Elite Series events and B.A.S.S. Opens as well as various other tournaments.   His career highlight was winning the 2012 Bassmaster Classic on the Red River in Shreveport, LA.  He also won the 2012 B.A.S.S. Southern Open on the Harris Chain in Tavares, FL, the 2010 B.A.S.S. Southern Open on Lake Okeechobee, and the 2006 B.A.S.S. Southern Open on Lake Okeechobee.

In 2011, Chris had three top 12 finishes in the Bassmaster Elite Series and finished 12th overall for the season.

He is a former member of the Lakeland Bassmasters and Tampa Bay Bassmasters and gives back to the community through a number of organizations that help teach children about fishing. In the past he has participated in Get Reel tournaments, Angel Angler Hospital visits, and done various Outdoor Expos.

Chris Lane lives with his wife and four children in Guntersville, Alabama. Originally from Central Florida he made the move in 2009, giving him a more central location and a terrific place to raise a family.

Chris Lane began hosting an annual kids fishing camp, Reeling in Future Pros upon moving to Guntersville, AL.  In 2013 Chris Lane Fishing will host the 6th annual camp.  His strong family values keep him focused on giving back to his community and the fishing industry.
