I was born and raised on Pine Island on the West Coast of Florida. I am a second-generation captain. My father was a captain for 25 years so I have been in this business for most of my life so it’s just natural that I would fall into the same footsteps as him. It’s definitely a true passion. I have lived In the Florida Keys for 20yrs now and have been a full-time captain for 7yrs. Figured since I was constantly on and in the water, I might as well try and make a career of it, so I quit my 9-5 got my captains license and started over. Ran into Jack Carlson and at the time he was growing into more boats and he picked me up. I have been with two conchs for 6 years now.
I fish about 4-5 tournaments a year mostly offshore. I have taken 1st in the Father’s Day dolphin derby and also the Key Morada Invitational taking Grand Champion offshore out of Islamorada in 2018 and 2nd place in 2019.
Since I have started with Two Conchs we have grown from 3 boats to 14 boats a tv show and fishing almost 300 days a year.
